Collins Aerospace an RTX business is looking to hire an entry level Software Engineer to support our Power and Controls organization. This role focuses on secure software development automation and continuous improvement in support of critical communication and cyber intelligence programs.

In this role you will contribute to the design development integration and protection of software solutions that directly support Power and Controls programs. You will work closely with development security and operations teams to ensure that security and reliability are embedded into every stage of the software lifecycle enabling seamless delivery of mission-critical systems.

This position will be at our Aguadilla PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

This role is categorized as hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What YOU will do :

• Assist in analyzing system data flows to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Support the development of secure product designs
• Develop deploy and automate security tools for identifying product security flaws
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements during product development stages.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments penetration testing and other security evaluations under supervision.
• Support organizational adoption of the Avionics Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
