Core Responsibilities

Diagnose Problems : Use diagnostic tools and their own expertise to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.

Perform Repairs : Fix or replace faulty parts like alternators, timing belts, spark plugs, and fuel pumps.

Routine Maintenance : Handle oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, fluid flushes, and tune-ups.

Inspect Vehicles : Conduct safety and emissions inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.

Use Technology : Operate computerized diagnostic equipment and update service records digitally.

Customer Communication : Explain issues and repairs to customers in understandable terms, sometimes offering cost estimates or advice.
