Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ACLS, BLS, and RCIS or ARRT certification for an acute care teaching hospital assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in a short-term acute care, magnet-recognized, teaching hospital settingCath Lab unit caring for adult cardiac patients with procedures including PCIs and support devices such as IABP and ImpellaRequired to scrub and monitor cath procedures4x10 hour day shifts, 7 : 30am-6 : 00pm, with one weekday and up to one weekend on-call per monthRequires floating within the hospitalUses Epic EMR; experience preferred but not requiredScrubs of any color provided for OR personnelDuties include performing and assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, monitoring patients, and managing support devicesOrientation for allied staff starts any Monday with 2-3 hours of pre-start modules and Epic training during orientationMust be able to float to other areas within hospital as neededRTO is limited to 1 week and not allowed during orientation week; RTO requests cannot be altered post-acceptanceNo radius restrictions; local candidates accepted at the same rateFirst-time travelers are accepted for this assignmentParking is available for a daily feeRequirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Tech experience requiredCurrent Washington State Radiology License requiredACLS, BLS, and either RCIS or ARRT certification requiredCOVID vaccine and booster required with no exceptionsMust be able to scrub and monitor cath lab procedures including PCIs and support device usagePrior trauma and teaching hospital experience preferredTwo professional references required, at least one supervisory if possiblePrior staff must be separated for at least 18 months to be eligibleBenefits
