Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the activities of other store employees
• Ensure that there is delivery of excellent customer service
• Play a role in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of new employees
• Ensure compliance of employees to company policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory and stock levels
• Provide directives to sales / cashiers associates as at when necessary
• Perform administrative duties as required by the manager
• Assign employees to perform specific tasks
• Provide courteous and prompt resolution of employee and / or customer issues
• Ensure implementation and enforcement of the store's established daily procedures for operation
• Conduct meetings with staff members in the absence of the manager

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
