Overview
Position Summary : Demonstrates knowledge of operational work processes within the Distribution Center and collaborates to drive end-to-end improvements.
What you'll do
- Create strategic leadership partnerships with key leaders to drive end-to-end improvements in the Distribution Center.
- Manage workloads of Process Quality Engineers to balance network-driven projects with building-specific improvements.
- Apply continuous improvement tools (Root Cause Analysis, Time and Motion Studies, Statistical Process Control, Process Deviation, 5S, Six Sigma) to reduce losses and establish sustainable standards.
- Support the Walmart Performance System in the building by engaging leaders and demonstrating program effectiveness through problem solving and process improvement thinking.
- Support the Daily Management System review and response process at various levels through root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation.
- Collaborate on network One Best Way standard implementation and deviation process.
- Drive execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, developing and communicating plans, removing barriers, allocating resources, and measuring performance.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations; foster a team-based environment and culture of belonging.
- Promote and support company policies, ethics, integrity, and the Open Door Policy; ensure compliance and participate in community outreach as appropriate.
- Evaluate ongoing plans and initiatives to meet business needs, solicit feedback, and support efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years' experience in Continuous Improvement or related area OR 6 years' experience in Engineering, Continuous Improvement or related area.4 years' experience leading teams.Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System (e.g., Statistical Process Control, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Quality Key Performance Indicators).Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long-term savings.Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000.00-$192,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location, Stock.
