About The Role

The Delivery Ads team is on a mission to build and scale Uber's Retail Media Network, enabling merchants on Uber Eats to effectively reach and convert Uber's highly engaged user base. As a Manager, Strategy & Planning, you’ll shape the global strategy, operating model, and growth roadmap for one of Uber's fastest‑growing businesses while leading a team of high‑performing strategists and operators.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of strategists / operators, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and collaboration.
• Define and lead business strategies that accelerate growth for Uber’s Delivery Ads business, working closely with Product, Regional Ops, PMM, Sales, and Data Science.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Ads leadership and cross‑functional executives, using structured thinking and data‑driven insights to inform long‑term strategy and near‑term priorities.
• Identify opportunities to scale product adoption and advertiser ROI across segments (Enterprise, SMB) and regions by operationalizing GTM plays, incentives, measurement strategies, and enablement.
• Build strategic frameworks and performance‑management tools to evaluate success, ensure accountability, and guide resourcing decisions.
• Represent advertiser and merchant needs by synthesizing market trends, competitive signals, and customer insights to influence product and business roadmaps.
• Design repeatable global processes and toolkits that accelerate knowledge sharing and unlock growth at scale.

Compensation

For New York, NY‑based roles : The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year – USD$172,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA‑based roles : The base salary range for this role is USD$155,000 per year – USD$172,000 per year.
