You are the Peer Recovery Specialist that we are seeking for our Adult and Addiction Services program located in our location in Richmond, Indiana. As a PRS you will work alongside patients providing peer support services, serving as a patient advocate and facilitating non-clinical skills / support groups with the support of a licensed clinician.

Peer Recovery Specialist Key Responsibilities :

• Assist patients in identifying personal goals for recovery
• Works with clinicians in the development of treatment and discharge plans.
• Provides case management services as identified in the patient’s treatment plan; coordination of contractual care as needed
• Completes relevant assessments
• Assist patients in recognizing barriers to recovery
• Assist patients in recognizing their personal strengths they build their recovery capital.
• Facilitate non-clinical skills groups
• Assist patients in building social skills and the development of healthy relationships.
• Model different ways someone in recovery uses self-care.
