Your Role as a Dietary Manager
We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Manager to join our team and oversee foodservice operations within our community. This role ensures compliance with policies and regulations while providing nutritious meals in a safe environment.
What You'll Do :
Supervise foodservice staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluationsEnsure compliance with dietary regulations and company policiesPlan and oversee meal preparation based on dietitian-approved menusMaintain budgets, manage inventory, and order necessary suppliesWork collaboratively with community departments to ensure resident-centered careUphold high sanitation and food safety standardsParticipate in resident care planning and coordinate with Registered DietitiansProvide professional communication with inspectors and regulatory agenciesPhysical Demands :
Standing, sitting, walking, and changing positions frequentlyLifting or carrying up to 25 lbs.; pushing and pulling up to 50 lbsAbility to reach, balance, kneel, stoop, and bendSafety Requirements :
Follow safety policies, including the use of carts for moving itemsWear skid-resistant, supportive shoes to prevent slips and fallsUtilize protective hand equipment when handling knives, sharp objects, and hot surfacesMandatory reporting of work-related injuries within 12 hoursParticipation in company drug testing proceduresWork Environment :
This job operates in a professional kitchen setting, utilizing stoves, dishwashers, refrigerators, coolers, and other equipment. The environment includes indoor settings with adequate lighting and ventilation.
Qualifications :
