Position : Strong Readers Act Tutor (Temporary Classified or Certified - 8 openings)

Reports to : Site / Building Principal and Reading Specialist / Literacy Coach

Supervises : None

Qualifications :

• Hold a valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate.
• Previous tutoring experience preferred.
• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal : To provide intensive remediation in reading to students on Academic Progress Plans (SRA).

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Employment Terms : Temporary Classified ($13.00 / hr) or Certified ($25.00 / hr) contract; as needed

FLSA Qualification : Non-exempt
