3+ years of Labor / Delivery experience.

BLS, NRP certification required.

Description :

This position involves working in the Labor & Delivery unit.

The unit includes 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, and 6 triage rooms.

There are 3 Labor & Delivery ORs available.

The staffing matrix for day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters.

Night shift typically includes 1 charge nurse and 7-9 RNs.

Patient ratios are 2 : 1, with 1 : 1 for complicated cases.

Key equipment includes fetal heart rate monitors and fetal scalp electrodes.

The electronic medical record systems used are CPN and Meditech.

Responsibilities include performing vaginal deliveries and c-sections.

Nursing care will be directed and coordinated for labor, delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients.

Candidates with Mom / Baby, Pediatrics, and / or NICU experience are preferred.
