TruFusion Steel Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Estimator / Project Manager to support our growing structural and miscellaneous steel operations. This role is responsible for estimating projects from plans and managing those same projects through completion , while helping develop strong industry relationships that contribute to new opportunities for the company.

This position is intended for a motivated, experienced professional with a positive attitude who will contribute to and strengthen our company’s culture, professionalism, and teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform accurate material takeoffs from structural and architectural plans
• Estimate fabrication labor, erection labor, materials, and required equipment
• Prepare proposals and bid packages
• Determine appropriate equipment needs during estimating (forklifts, lifts, cranes, access equipment, etc.)
• Order and track materials and understand supplier lead times
• Develop fabrication and erection schedules
• Manage projects from award through completion
• Coordinate with general contractors, detailers, suppliers, and field crews
• Identify plan discrepancies and generate RFIs
• Maintain professional relationships and assist in developing new project opportunities

Required Qualifications

Compensation (Performance-Based)

This position is structured as a weekly draw combined with performance-based commission directly tied to the gross profit of the projects you estimate and manage.

Compensation is intentionally structured to reward estimating accuracy, project management performance, and business development efforts. High performers can earn well above a traditional salary structure.
