UTA seeks an Analyst to join our Music Operations team, a fast-paced, high-impact group supporting one of the most dynamic departments at the agency. This role sits at the intersection of data, operations, and talent representation, partnering closely with agents, finance, and cross-functional teams to drive clarity, efficiency, and insight across UTA’s global music business.
The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and manage the department-wide talent and show roster, ensuring timely updates related to onboarding, offboarding, and client status changes
- Execute ad hoc data projects, including compiling show performance metrics, reviewing booking patterns, and synthesizing data from multiple internal sources
- Evaluate and triage incoming project requests by assessing data availability, operational feasibility, and potential business impact
- Support the Accounting team during month-end close by compiling and validating key performance and settlement data
- Assist in preparing recurring and on-demand reports for internal stakeholders with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and actionable insights
- Monitor and ensure data hygiene across operational systems, flagging discrepancies and supporting resolution processes
- Partner with agents and internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance visibility into key operational metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, settlement timelines)
What You Will Need
2+ years of experience in a data, operations, or business support role, ideally within live entertainment, media, or other fast-paced environmentsProficiency with relational databases and writing basic to intermediate SQL queriesHands-on experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)Advanced experience in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, data validationProgramming experience (Python, R, or similar) is a strong plus, but not requiredExperience assessing project requests and determining requirements, feasibility, and execution stepsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and data accuracyExcellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teamsPassion for live music and understanding of the touring ecosystem is a bonusWhat You Will Get
