Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Telespeech

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech to support K-12 students in Carlisle, PA. This contract position allows for flexibility while making a significant impact on the lives of students requiring speech and language assistance. The ideal candidate is dedicated, passionate, and ready to adapt to a virtual environment effectively.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct prehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language skills using telehealth platforms.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of K-12 students.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services through virtual sessions, ensuring engagement and support for each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Stay updated on best practices and research in speech therapy and telespeech methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in pliance with educational standards.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure and certification in speech-language pathology.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
  • Proficient in using telespeech technology and digital assessment tools.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and families.
