Opportunity : CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details : - Work 12-hour day shifts - Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis - Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions - Administer contrast materials to patients - Prepare and operate CT scan equipment - Position patients to capture appropriate images - Perform quality control procedures on equipment - Use independent judgment and apply all radiation safety standards - Provide coverage for other areas within the Radiology Department - Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures when acting as Radiologic Technologist - Adhere to proper radiation safety procedures - Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills - Graduate from an accredited Radiology program required - Two years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging required - CT Registry preferred - Strong computer skills required - A.R.R.T. registered required - RT / CT Registry certification required - Current Nevada X-ray License required - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Facility : This regional healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services to the community with a focus on advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities.
