We are looking for a Vice President with tax experience to join the Tax Documentation team in the Tax Operations Department. Tax analyzes and supports the activities, operations, reporting obligations, and transactions of the firm's business lines to ensure that tax consequences and reputational risks are evaluated appropriately. Our work contributes directly to the firm's success, and the division is ideal for creative and collaborative individuals who have strong ethics and attention to detail. Tax Operations is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the firm's compliance with reporting authorities around the globe and managing related inquiries from a variety of the firm's businesses across established and emerging markets. Day-to-day team functions include accurate and timely account documentation and monitoring, withholding, client information reporting, and regulatory filings. The team also has the responsibility of analyzing new or additional regulations and then designing process set-ups and system changes. The team capitalizes on opportunities to optimize procedures and build scalability through data analytics and efficient use of technology.

How you will fulfill your potential :

• Help provide team oversight, foster team development, and give regular feedback and reporting to senior management.
• Develop deep subject matter expertise in relevant tax systems, procedures, and requirements.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of multiple business lines across the firm in a role offering broad exposure to many divisions and groups.
• Engage internal and external advisors for interpretive guidance on new regulation impact or new business integrating with Tax Ops.
• Use your inquisitive mindset to identify control weakness, mitigate risk, improve client experience, and further process automation.
• Act as a risk manager through ongoing assessment and awareness of the tax regulatory environment and the firm's adherence to applicable tax reporting obligations.
• Work with management and teams across regions to drive initiatives and issue resolution.
• Create workflows and solution designs for technical systems and applications.
• Generate new ideas to create efficiencies and reduce risk.
• Be flexible and contribute to other activities as required.
