Job Description

Brookdale offers a Memory Care Program Manager role focused on implementing dementia care programs and providing coaching and leadership to caregiving associates. The position supports resident and family engagement and helps coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs for the community.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full implementation of resident and family engagement's overall dementia care program and lead caregivers within the community, ensuring person-centered programming and care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to provide dementia training, manage preadmission / move-in / move-out processes, hire and educate associates, and coordinate a calendar of dementia-friendly programs.
  • Plan and direct dementia care programs to meet the specific needs of all residents in the dementia community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in gerontology, therapeutic recreation, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of management and direct supervision experience.
  • Experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias in a residential setting.

    Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.
