Job Summary :

The Central Sterile Processing Technician decontaminates, cleans, packages and sterilizes all instruments / equipment and other supplies used in the hospital, as well as maintains appropriate documentation.

Vanderbilt Health is currently hiring a Sterile Processing Technician PRN at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital .

Key Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and cleans instruments for the operating room.
• Assembles instrument sets to be used in procedures.
• Sterilization of instruments.
• Adheres to practices and policies outlined to ensure patient safety and follows infection control standards.
