As Director of Field Operations at Kinsley Steel, Inc., you will be a key member of the leadership team at the forefront of our high-performance, customer-focused team, utilizing your forward-thinking skills to deliver exceptional results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership for all field operations across multiple states and operating companies within the Kinsley Steel Group.
• Manage and mentor the Northeast and Southeast Field Operations Managers and their General Superintendent teams to ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution of field work.
• Drive adherence to company safety programs and compliance with AISC, AWS, PCI, NCCO, OSHA, SDI, SJI, and other applicable construction standards and regulations.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee planning and execution of manpower and equipment resources across all regions to maximize utilization and minimize downtime or rework.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Fabrication, and Quality Control departments to ensure smooth project handoffs, accurate schedules, and consistent delivery standards.
• Champion continuous improvement through field performance analytics, standardization of best practices, and implementation of innovative installation methods or technologies.
• Lead the expansion and administration of the Ironworker Apprenticeship and Talent Development Program to build a sustainable pipeline of skilled field talent.
• Oversee crane operations, including compliance, training, certification, and equipment logistics.
• Participate in annual business planning, budgeting, and operational forecasting for all Field Operations.
• Represent the company professionally in client, partner, and industry interactions.
• Regularly travel to jobsites and regional offices to ensure operational consistency, performance accountability, and employee engagement.
