Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsible for daily operation of material handling equipment and movement of material throughout the manufacturing plant ensuring quality and production expectations are met for accurate and on-time completion of customer orders while keeping safety in mind at all times.

• Responsible for setting up work area and obtaining appropriate equipment and materials.
• Provide production with a steady flow of materials based on requests from management and / or production team members.
• Responsible for general fork truck battery maintenance and related documentation.
• Responsible for loading and unloading all shipments and inspection / verification of incoming goods.
• Accurately complete written forms and reports including packing / receiving forms, bills of lading, and UPS / Fed Ex records, as appropriate.
• Weigh record and store work in process and finished goods.
• Replenish pick and home bin locations, as needed.
• Maintain and record all inventory additions and moves with the distribution area.
• Unload incoming overseas shipment containers.
• Perform basic computer functions.
• Maintain a clean and functioning work area per 5S standards.
• Perform related duties (including those in other areas of production) as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow all company safety guidelines including wearing the proper protective equipment for job assignment.
• Maintain compliance with all company guidelines and procedures.

Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, tools with sharp edges, loud noise, chemicals, and fumes which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
