Job descriptionNumber of Beds – 38 Number of Staff – see below Type of staff : Patient Ratios – 6 : 1, Goal is for charge nurse to be out of staffing to assist. Night stretch ratios is 7 : 1. Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps, Wound vacs, SCDS, prima-fits, primo-fits EMR – Cerner Powerchart Medical / surgical nursing experience\n\n Telemetry\n\nPreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n\n Charge nurse experience\n\nList typical procedures performed on unit(s) : \n\n Peripheral IV starts\n\n Dressing changes\n\n Other standard medical surgical skills\n\nBest personality Fit : \n\n Team player\n\n Positive attitude\n\n Help others without being asked\n\nREQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : \n\n BLS\n\nFloating Area(s) : \n\n Other medical surgical units, ED holding medical / surgical patients.\n\nDress Code : \n\n Scrub Color / Attire – all navy, all white, or white top and navy pants, navy or white undershirts if needed.
