Ink Batch Maker Trainee

Job Function :

As a Batch Maker Trainee, your responsibilities will include :

• Packaging finished products in various containers and labeling them correctly.
• Pulling, measuring, weighing, and blending products to batch ticket specifications (water, solvent, UV / EB, or oil-based).
• Completing documentation accurately by recording information on batch tickets and inspecting products.
• Communicating discrepancies to management.
• Following safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
• Conducting inventory control activities and maintaining adherence to “The Kao Way” standards.
• Performing additional duties assigned by production management.

Skills for Success : Education :

High school diploma or GED required.

6 months or more of warehouse experience preferred.

Prior experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is a plus.

Forklift experience a plus but will be trained.

Communication :

Ability to read batch tickets (work orders or invoices).

Comfortable working independently or as part of a team, depending on business needs.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and sit for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver 500+ pound drums using a drum truck.

Shift : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch)
