Job Title : Data Center Support Technician

Location : Carteret, NJ (Onsite)

Duration : 6+ Months

Schedule : 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM ET (Includes Weekend Support Rotation)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Data Center Operations Technician to support shipping / receiving, inventory control, vendor coordination, and basic network / data center operations. The role involves hands-on work in the data center and providing support for the Operations Help Desk.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Receive, verify, track, and organize incoming / outgoing shipments and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate asset and inventory records.
  • Coordinate RMA orders and work with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support data center operations, including monitoring systems, basic troubleshooting, and handling support calls.
  • Assist with network equipment installs, upgrades, and maintenance under supervision.

Qualifications :

  • 0–2 years of experience in Data Center, Logistics, IT Operations, or related environment.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory / asset tracking systems.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Associate degree or relevant technical training preferred.

    • Skills :

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of networking or hardware support is a plus.
