Position Summary :

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations and promoting a safe work environment across our manufacturing plants in Kentucky and Indiana. This position requires fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and deliver training and safety messaging in both languages.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and enforce OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments at KY and IN facilities.
• Lead incident investigations and track corrective actions to completion.
• Deliver bilingual safety training programs (e.g., new hire orientation, forklift safety, PPE usage).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters with employees and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate safety records, including injury logs, training documentation, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
• Promote a safety-first culture through proactive engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist with workers’ compensation reporting and return-to-work coordination.

Work Environment :

This role involves regular presence on the manufacturing floor. Candidates must be comfortable working in industrial environments and engaging directly with line workers and management.
