Automotive Technician

Overview

Monro is hiring Automotive Technician and General Service Technician positions. Responsibilities include performing basic vehicle diagnostics, completing Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every customer vehicle, assisting in inventory management and general store duties, performing services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and procedures, test driving vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws, maintaining technical knowledge through Monro University training, operating and maintaining equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process on every customer vehicle
• Assist in inventory management and general store duties
• Perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards and procedures
• Test drive vehicles following company policy and local traffic laws
• Maintain technical knowledge through required Monro University training
• Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary

Salary Range : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience; $25 - $35 flat rate, based on experience.

General Service Technician

The General Service Technician role is full-time or part-time and is an hourly position based on the needs of the business. This position is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This role is expected to deliver 5-star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions while ensuring that guest expectations for time commitments and quality are consistently met.
