A hospitalist physician works in an acute rehab facility providing direct patient care and supervising advanced practice providers. This role involves managing medical treatments, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and supporting a private practice model with leadership opportunities such as Medical Director. The position requires physical stamina, adherence to infection control policies, and offers a flexible schedule with competitive income.
Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. As a regional leader growing nationwide, we are currently looking to add a Medical Director to the team in our Danbury, CT market.
What Medrina Offers :
Medical Director (additional stipend)
Monday - Friday
Private practice model with 'round and go' flexibility
Acute Rehab Facility Setting
Proven Income $400+
APP supervision (additional stipends)
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
- Must wear the required PPE per company and / or facility requirement.
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
