Salary Range : $71,000 $100,000 per year

Employment Type : Full-Time / Direct Hire

Sign-On Bonus : Up to $15,000

A premier health organization in the Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time inpatient / home care role. This day-shift position provides the opportunity to work with a collaborative interdisciplinary rehab team, delivering high-quality patient care while growing professionally in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities :

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore function, mobility, and independence.

Utilize therapeutic modalities such as exercise, gait training, ultrasound, hot / cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and traction.

Instruct patients on safe use of assistive devices (wheelchairs, canes, braces, etc.).

Monitor progress, document treatment plans, and adjust care as needed.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.

Supervise and mentor support staff and participate in departmental operations.

Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality improvement standards.

Engage in continuing education and maintain licensure and certifications.

Qualifications :

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.

BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Experience in inpatient care or hospital settings preferred.

Ability to lift at least 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
