Recruiter - Non-Clinical
The Recruiter - Non-Clinical is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for administrative, professional, and support service positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines, and ensure a positive candidate experience. The Recruiter plays a key role in advancing the organization's mission by attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent for non-clinical roles that support patient care and operational excellence. A key metric will be reducing outside recruitment spending.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for non-clinical positions including administrative, technical, professional, and support service roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, job requirements, and desired candidate profiles.
- Develop and post job requisitions across internal and external platforms.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and recommend qualified candidates.
- Facilitate interview scheduling, selection processes, and reference checks.
- Sourcing & Talent Pipelines
- Utilize diverse sourcing strategies including job boards, social media, networking, community partnerships, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume or hard-to-fill roles.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach activities.
- Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Communicate effectively with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback.
- Support employer branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice.
- Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records and prepare recruitment reports / metrics as needed.
- Partner with HRIS and Operations teams to support data integrity in recruitment systems.
- Collaboration & Partnerships
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and department leaders to align recruitment with organizational needs.
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits to ensure job offers are competitive and aligned with pay practices.
- Work with Talent Acquisition leadership to continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Experience : Minimum of 2 4 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience; healthcare or unionized environment experience preferred.Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (ADP).Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Saint Joseph's Medical Center is an equal opportunity employer.
