Summary

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing accurate payrolls, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting clients with payroll and HCM-related questions while fostering strong, long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and system support inquiries
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll and software-related issues quickly and effectively
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports, checks, and related documentation
  • Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and internal policies
  • Provide proactive client support, including training and process improvement guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Participate in system training, updates, and continuous learning opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive team culture by embodying organizational values

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience in payroll, HR, benefits, or related functions
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and troubleshoot cloud-based platforms
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or HR preferred
  • Salary

    $20.00–$25.00 per hour, plus potential quarterly bonuses
