About the Position

Specialty : Cytotechnologist (Cyto Tech)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent experience in cytology

License : State license required if applicable

Certifications : ASCP certification preferred; BLS required; all certifications must be submitted with expiration dates

Must-Have : All time-off requests must be submitted with the initial application

Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cytotechnologist (Cyto Tech) to examine cell samples under a microscope to detect abnormalities and assist in the diagnosis of diseases, including cancer. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a cytology lab is required. The candidate must be proficient in screening gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens.

This position may involve rotating shifts, weekend / holiday coverage, and potential cross-training . Compliance and onboarding typically take 4-6 weeks . A voice screening and hiring manager interview are required. Missed shifts must be made up per department guidelines.
