Radiology Technologist in Hayward, CA

A professional opportunity is available for a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mobile imaging services. This contract role is based in Hayward, CA, and involves providing diagnostic imaging and electrocardiogram (EKG) services to a variety of healthcare settings including nursing homes and other medical facilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform and process X-rays.
• Delivering clinically accurate and technically competent imaging as ordered by physicians.
• Performing EKGs when required and transmitting results to Cardiologists for analysis.
• Managing and scanning exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol.
• Maintaining communication with dispatch, management, and healthcare staff in a professional manner.
• Ensuring the upkeep of assigned vehicle and medical imaging equipment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Proven ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical capability to handle equipment, including pushing and pulling weight up to 50 lbs or more, with some assistance from ramps and pulleys.
