Job descriptionPerform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data Assist with governmental accounting tasks, such as preparing financial reports and maintaining compliance with regulations Handle accounts receivable duties, including invoicing, collections, and resolving payment discrepancies Support budgeting processes by gathering and organizing financial data, assisting with forecasting, and monitoring expenditures Assist in financial report writing, including preparing summaries, analyzing data, and presenting findings Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions Process accounts payable invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments Previous experience in an administrative assistant role or similar position Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in technical accounting tasks, such as account analysis and reconciliation Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial report writing Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in using computer software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
