We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Arkansas starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour physician coverage with shifts from 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am, alongside dedicated NP / PA support. The assignment is open for qualified candidates who meet the outlined licensure and certification requirements and are comfortable working with an EMR system such as CPSI. Job Details Location : Arkansas Start Date : Dec 1, 2025 Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : 24 Hours Physician Coverage (Shifts : 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am), 15.42 Hours NPPA Coverage Responsibilities and Duties Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions Perform clinical evaluations, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic procedures as indicated Coordinate with advanced practice providers (NP / PA) to ensure high-quality patient care Accurately document clinical findings and treatment plans using the CPSI EMR system Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and certification requirements Additional Information Must hold an active Arkansas medical license and DEA license Medical degree and residency certificate required Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred; if not board certified, must have 2500 hours in emergency department practice over the past 5 years Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required Must provide two trauma CMEs every three years, two years of case logs, and two years of CME history Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
