Responsibilities Position based in an acute care hospital with Level II trauma and Magnet recognition Role covers both Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP), with EP comprising a large part of the assignment Clinicians may float to Cath Lab or between facilities within the state as needed Adult cardiac patient population Utilizes Epic charting system; Epic experience required Day shift schedule is 4x10 hours, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM On-call required 3 weeknights per week, each for 2 hours; no weekend call unless desired for Cath Lab shifts No weekend shifts required unless picking up additional call Scrubs provided on-site Primary responsibilities include assisting with both cardiac catheterization and a broad range of EP procedures Facility offers training in EP for strong Cath Lab Technologists All travelers expected to float between facilities as needed Travelers may only work a maximum of 1 calendar year and must take a 6-month break before returning Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) is required Pre-start and annual education modules are required and completed online Free parking is available on-site First-time travelers will be considered for this position Requirements Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab or EP experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Either ARRT (R) or RCES certification required; license required if applicable Experience with McKesson equipment and Per UD required Epic EMR charting experience required Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references within the last 3 years in comparable settings Candidates' permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Past permanent staff must be separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Facility only accepts Hep B vaccination; titers or declinations not permitted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618351.
