Job Type : Full-time

Shifts : Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends to support athletic events

Setting : Outreach - High School Athletics

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support student-athletes in local school programs. This role focuses on injury prevention, on-site care, and rehabilitation while fostering a positive, team-oriented sports environment. Ideal candidates are athlete-centered, detail-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional care while growing professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-field and clinic-based athletic training services

Develop and implement individualized injury-prevention programs

Administer immediate care for injured athletes and coordinate further evaluation when necessary

Design and manage rehabilitation plans to ensure safe and timely return-to-play

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, coaches, and school administrators

Maintain accurate documentation of athlete injuries, treatments, and progress

Ensure safe athletic environments by monitoring equipment and facilities

Educate athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, hydration, and performance wellness

Stay current on best practices in sports medicine and athletic training

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training

NATABOC Certification (or pending graduation / anticipated certification)

Current or anticipated Georgia state licensure

Ability to work flexible hours including weekday evenings and weekends

Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
