Fiber Optics Installation Technician

PLEASE SEND SALARY REQUIREMENTS AND RESUME IF INTERESTED. FIBER OPTIC TECHNICIAN -JOB DESCRIPTION Install underground fiber-optic cable as part of an AI fiber rollout. Work is performed daily with a focus on accuracy, footage tracking, and restoration quality. We are running 1” to 2” conduit on projects. All are at a depth of 36 inches. Pull fiber in conduit per design, 12-count to 864 count. Responsibilities : Install underground fiber-optic lines using blowing and pulling methods. Pull conduit and fiber per project design. Identify and resolve slow sections or glass breaks. Turn in daily production footage and dollar totals to the site admin. Track footage installed and record data in the tracking system. Follow PPE and safety requirements on all job sites. Perform breakaway membrane work and ensure clean connections.
