IS EPIC- Interface Bridges Analyst
Designs, build, and maintain HL7 interfaces in Epic Bridges to support seamless data exchange between Epic and external systems (labs, pharmacies, imaging, billing, etc.). Monitors and troubleshoot interface messages and queues, ensuring accurate and timely transmission of clinical and operational data. Analyzes interface requirements and collaborate with vendors, application analysts, and technical teams to develop reliable integration solutions. Tests, validate, and document new and modified interfaces in collaboration with end-users and application owners. Maintains interface engine configuration and routing, including mapping, translation, and workflow rules. Supports Epic upgrades, service packs, and environment refreshes to ensure interface compatibility and stability. Develops and maintain interface documentation including specifications, workflows, and troubleshooting guides. Provides on-call support for interface-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and operations. Collaborates with interoperability and integration teams to support initiatives like HIE (Health Information Exchange) and FHIR-based APIs. Ensures compliance with HIPAA and organizational security standards in all data exchange processes.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology required with 4+ years integration experience preferred.
EPIC Certification will be required in the timeframe as determined by the Chief Information Officer
