Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, focusing on the design and support of industrial electrical systems. Your specific responsibilities will include :
- Creating innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability, safety, ergonomics, and compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other environmental health and safety initiatives.
- Providing expert technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments to minimize downtime and boost system performance.
- Designing and updating PLC, VFD, and HMI programs using multiple control automation platforms, such as Rockwell, Siemens, and Beijer.
- Maintaining and updating National Instruments LabVIEW code for testing applications and equipment.
- Collaborating effectively with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, MES, and production teams to support facility projects.
- Applying NEC knowledge in planning industrial equipment installations while updating documentation with electricians.
- Offering project leaders capital cost estimates, timelines, and reviewing capital equipment quotations.
- Leading projects or steps of projects, resolving complex problems, and serving as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
- Managing external engineering and construction personnel to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Integrating equipment into data collection systems and establishing network topologies.
- Supporting network backups, device patch management, and control system asset inventory.
- Gathering data from connected devices for organizational use and developing standards for control system hardware and software.
- Taking on additional responsibilities aligning with Lincoln Electric Company's 2025 Higher Standard Goals.
Qualifications

Engineer II - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 3+ years of relevant professional experience.Engineer III - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.Engineer IV - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 8+ years of relevant professional experience.Experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical CAD software.Expertise with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment, including Rockwell Automation and Siemens software, and National Instruments LabVIEW.Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, 79, and other technical standards.Understanding of basic networking concepts and SQL databases.Skills
