Position : RN Administrator (Alternate)

Description

We are looking for an RN to serve as an alternate for an administrator role at our home care agency, Executive Home Care Treasure Coast. Our agency will focus on non-medical home care only.

As a first step, we will need to fill the RN administrator alternate role for the purpose of applying for a Florida Home Health License through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).  The RN administrator alternate will fill in should our primary RN administrator be unable to.

These are requirements of the RN alternate for initial licensing purposes :

• A copy of your Florida RN license, including your license number
• We will run a background check within the AHCA system, to do this we will need you to provide your Date of Birth and SSN
• A copy of your current CPR card. Note the CPR card may be obtained online, if needed, via a provider that’s comparable to American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• A TB test from within a year at survey
• We will provide an orientation and job summary sheet or you for you to sign off on
• You will also need to complete a1-hour video training on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia training as required by the State of Florida. Note this will be a 1-hour video you will need to watch. We will provide this video training to you.

Compensation for the licensing support will be a one-time payment of $__500__ upon submission of application

This arrangement will not involve any nursing duties on your part during the licensing process.

Ongoing role :

Once the Home Health license has been obtained, the role of the RN administrator alternate will be to fill in to evaluate and issue treatment plans should he primary RN administrator be unable. Compensation for the ongoing role will be on a case-by-case basis (this role will be a flexible part-time position)

Please note, by agreeing to supporting in the initial licensing process, you are under no obligation to commit to an ongoing role at this time.

We currently have no clients / patients and will not have any until after the license is obtained. Once licensing is obtained, we can discuss the ongoing role in further detail.
