A typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities :
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experienceCreate a welcoming experience by greeting guestsEngage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needsMake the guest aware of current promos, store activities and eventsBe knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues for the guestThank guests and let them know were happy they chose to shop at TargetKnow and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programsScan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standardsWork efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracyUnderstand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target AppBe familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and know how to direct the guest to enroll, activate and use these featuresAttempt every return and follow register prompts; partner with immediate Leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Targets policies and proceduresMaintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removalStock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guestDemonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and complianceWork in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possibleSupport guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage lawsThis may be the right job for you if :
