As a Foreman, you'll : Coordinate and supervise the movement of trains and railcars within the yard, ensuring safety and efficiency; Direct the activities of yard crews, providing clear instructions for switching, coupling, and uncoupling railcars; Monitor schedules and prioritize train movements to ensure on-time departures and arrivals; Safeguard company assets by properly managing rail equipment and maintaining accurate records; Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges that may arise; Perform inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
