Position Summary :

As a Fabricator at Schwing America, you’ll play a key role in crafting steel and aluminum parts from detailed drawings using a variety of tools and equipment. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

• Fabricate steel and aluminum components based on engineering drawings
• Operate and maintain equipment such as CNC Plasma Cutters, brakes, saws, radial drills, punch presses, and hand tools
• Set up and run saws and drills at proper speeds and feeds
• Program miters using the band saw
• Operate press brake with correct dies and determine bend lines / tooling using bend allowances
• Use grinders to deburr flame-cut parts
• Safely move materials and parts using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Operate barcode scanner / computer (SAP) to track labor time and pick materials
• Inspect completed units to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with company guidelines
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting efforts as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
