Research Assistant 2, Molecular and Cell Biology

Description

We are seeking an experienced Research Assistant 2 to support biochemical and molecular biology studies. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory techniques and assist with maintaining efficient daily operations. Primary duties include :

• Perform molecular biology and protein biochemistry protocols, such as cloning and plasmid preparation, PCR, genomic DNA isolation, protein extraction, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation.
• Perform in vitro cell culture and cell biology experiments.
• Maintain lab inventories and stock solutions; order supplies.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe lab environment.
• Assist with data organization and analysis.

Salary Range : $28.88 / hour - $46.46 / hour
