Immediately hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Vineland, NJ

We're hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a paper manufacturing facility in Vineland, NJ

This is a contract to hire opportunity and we're hiring immediately. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of production machinery through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.

Shift / Pay : 5 Days a week (Candidates must be comfortable working occasional OT)

2nd Shift 3 : 00PM - 11 : 30PM@ Monday-Friday

3rd Shift 11 : 00PM - 7 : 30AM@ Sunday-Thursday

Pay Rate $25.00-30.00 depending on experience

Job Description

This role involves performing daily preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment. You will maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to all safety regulations. The position provides skilled mechanical support across all production areas, conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance services. You will manage time and tasks to fulfill all customer orders promptly, contributing to the achievement of production goals.

Work Environment

This position is set in a manufacturing environment where large machines operate continuously. The main machine, the corrugator, runs around the clock, with other machines experiencing downtime. The environment is loud, requiring the use of ear protection, and can reach temperatures over 100 degrees during summer, particularly near boilers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vineland, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
