Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Vocational Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Grand Island, NE.

What You’ll Do : Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. You will support DSPs along with working side by side with them as they assist individuals with day to day living activities and developing skills in a day site and in community settings.

Hours : Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm.

Skillset Needed for the Job : Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals. Understand the importance of documentation.

Requirements : Must be 18 years old. Must be able to pass all background checks. Must have a valid driver’s license. Experience preferred although not required – we will train you!

Pay : $17.50- 19.00 / hour based on experience. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
