This quaint city is rich in New England culture and offers numerous art galleries and performing art groups, historical and classical music societies, and many shops and restaurants in its vibrant downtown. There are endless family-friendly activities to explore with Maine’s 4 national parks including Acadia National Park and 32 state parks offering hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing trails. Maine is home to 15 world-class ski resorts. Notably, the largest mountain resort east of the Rockies, Sugarloaf Ski Resort is only a 2-hour drive. Lewiston is also located 4-hours north of Boston, Massachusetts, and 5-hours southeast from Montreal, Quebec.
