Pharmacy Technician at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon

Full Time / Day Shift

The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in supporting Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist practice thru handling appointments, gathering and documentation of patient information through interviews with patients, families, caregivers, pharmacies, and medical providers. This role provides expertise in prior authorizations as applicable and may administer vaccines when in scope for the practice site.

Required Qualifications :

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire : Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician or
• Upon hire : Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
• Within 2 years of hire : National Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 2 years of hire as applicable
• 1 year Pharmacy Technician experience if PTCB or 2 years of pharmacy technician experience if without national certification
