Job Title

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality rehabilitation services under the supervision of a therapist.

Essential Functions

• Assists the therapist in the provision of rehabilitation services under the direction of a therapist, consistent with department policies and procedures.
• Informs patients and significant others about treatments being received, equipment being used, and other related activities.
• Performs clerical duties such as answering telephones, scheduling patients, patient registration, processing physician orders, computer data entry / retrieval, completing forms, documenting communication / care, and preparing patient charts.
• Participates in selected department quality monitoring activities.
• Schedules patients for revisits.
• Cleans equipment / work area / patients environment.
• Attends appropriate meetings and conferences.
• Provides transportation of the patient / client using the employees personal vehicle.
• Maintains inventory of materials, forms, and supplies according to departmental standard.
