Job Summary :

Under direction and supervision of the Medical Director for medical matters and the Program Director

for administrative matters, participates in the promotion and restoration of patients' health,

collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; and provides support to patients.

Essential Functions :

Essential Qualifications :

Education / Licensure / Certification : LPN (Licensed in the state of the job location).

Required Knowledge : Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology

General nursing knowledge and techniques. Basic mathematics

skills. Must be computer literate and have basic knowledge of

all Microsoft products including Word, Outlook and Excel.

Experience Required Minimum of 1 year direct patient contact. Prior experience in

clinical environment helpful.

Skill and Ability : Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal

skills. Must have great attention to detail and be extremely

accurate in performing daily functions. Must have basic typing

skills.

Finger Dexterity : Use primarily when operating hands to medicate patients,

utilize keyboard and telephone. Talking : To convey detailed or important instructions to patients and

Vision : Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to observe patients

and work on computer. Clear vision at 20 inches or less and

distant vision at 20 feet or more.

daily medications (milligrams) functions and tasks.

Language Ability : Ability to read, analyze and interpret general healthcare

journals, professional journals and technical procedures. Ability

to write reports and medical correspondence. Ability to

effectively present information and respond to questions from

staff and outside agencies.
