As a Senior Information Security Consultant Lead at Capital One, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our cybersecurity initiatives. Your expertise will drive the development of risk management strategies, security architecture, and cloud security solutions. Collaborating with various teams, you will elevate our information security practices, manage risks, and provide strategic guidance that ensures the safety of our financial operations.

In this dynamic environment, your practical understanding of risk and security will be essential. You will lead by influencing teams to integrate security into the development process while effectively managing and escalating cybersecurity risks. The role involves acting as a key point of contact for areas such as Data Protection Service, Endpoint Security, and Cyber Intelligence Services.

• Serve as a central point of contact for key security services.
• Deliver proactive cybersecurity consulting to business and technology teams.
• Act as an expert in Capital One's security capabilities and policies.
• Encourage teams to integrate security practices early in the development lifecycle.
• Monitor and manage cybersecurity risks effectively.
• Provide insights and support on current cybersecurity trends and issues.
• Update executive leadership on the status of information security and risk management.
• Collaborate with leadership to anticipate business objectives and opportunities.

Note : This position is located in McLean, VA with a salary range of $225,400 - $257,200 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical. Also based in Plano, TX with a range of $204,900 - $233,800 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical.
