Airgas is hiring for a IE Maintenance Technician in Coatesville, PA!

The Plant Maintenance / I&E Technician's role is to maintain and repair of the production related equipment in the Air Separation Unit such as compressors, pumps, motors, valves, gauges and vessels.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Working around High voltage Electrical equipment, compressors, pumps, motors, valves and cryogenic process equipment.
  • Perform basic disassembly and rebuild of mechanical equipment, changing out pumps, mechanical seals, collect vibration readings, collect oil sample, Greasing rotating equipment.
  • Perform basic low voltage electrical system maintenance, process control loop and readout calibrations.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks and documents in the CMMS system.
  • Learning ASU Process
  • Will be sharing On-Call responsibilities.

    • The hourly base pay range for this position in Coatesville, PA is $35.00 - $40.00. Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only. Airgas considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Electrical experience required.
  • 2 – 5 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Multi Meters (Fluke Multi Meters).
  • Understanding of control valve functions and Instrument Calibration, Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitter etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment.
  • Comfortable working in a non-air conditioned environment.
  • Able to climb and work on heights (165 ft).
  • Computer Experience.
